Complaints and dispute resolution

L.V.M., Lda. provides a Complaints Book in physical format, where applicable, and in electronic format through the official Electronic Complaints Book platform. Complaints related to credit intermediation activity are assessed by the competent supervisory authority, the Bank of Portugal.

Without prejudice to recourse to judicial courts, the consumer may also resort to an alternative consumer dispute resolution entity, namely CNIACC – National Centre for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Conflicts.

Legal information

The activity of L.V.M., Lda. as a credit intermediary is subject to supervision by the Bank of Portugal. The credit intermediary registration may be consulted on the Bank of Portugal Banking Customer Portal.

The credit intermediary is prohibited from receiving or delivering any amounts related to the formation, performance or early fulfilment of credit agreements, pursuant to Article 46 of the legal regime governing credit intermediaries, approved by Decree-Law no. 81-C/2017 of 7 July.

L.V.M., Lda. processes personal data within the scope of its vehicle trading activity and ancillary credit intermediation activity, in accordance with the GDPR.

By submitting this form, data such as tax identification number, first name, surname, email, mobile phone, consents given and other information necessary to analyse the credit intermediation request or related contact may be processed.

Data is processed to respond to the request, comply with legal obligations, manage the relationship with clients and financial partners, prepare financing or credit intermediation processes, manage complaints and ensure the defence of rights.

L.V.M., Lda. may communicate personal data to financial partners, lenders, insurers or entities necessary for the provision of the requested service, as well as to police, judicial, tax or regulatory authorities where there is a legal obligation.

Data is retained for the period necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, without prejudice to applicable legal periods. The data subject may exercise rights of access, rectification, updating, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, where applicable, through dpo@lvmotors.pt or lvm@grupokcapital.pt.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent previously given. LVMOTORS does not sell personal data to third parties.

By completing and submitting the form available on lvmotors.pt, the data subject declares that they have read, understood and accepted the Information Duty, Legal Information and Privacy and Data Protection Policy of L.V.M., Lda.
